'The First Responders 2' Episode 3: Bong Do Jin's Heartbreaking Fate
"The First Responders 2" Episode 3 shocks the viewers as it takes a melancholic turn.
After Song Seol (Gong Seung Yeon) is admitted to the hospital, the doctor tries to revive her repeatedly.
At the burning building, Jin Ho Gae (Kim Rae Won) checks on a dead body. It turns out that it belongs to Bong Do Jin (Son Ho Jun).
The fire department breaks down as they learn about his death.
Meanwhile, the doctors are able to rescue Song Seol.
Bong Do Jin's Legacy
The fire department and the police force pay respect to Bong Do Jin's body before he gets cremated. However, the doctors discover fragments of candles inside his stomach through an autopsy.
In an investigation, the candle fragments inside the late firefighter's body are used to cause another fire, and it's revealed that Bong Do Jin sadly witnessed it all.

Meanwhile, Song Seol breaks her silence and reveals that the fire is caused by one person. The candles are manufactured in the same place owned by the victim of the first fire.

Song Seol then goes to Bong Do Jin's home and finds a photo of the same man. On her way out, she comes face to face with the man inside the elevator.
At the end of the episode, the man tries to attack Song Seol.
Meanwhile, Ma Tae Hwa (Lee Do Yeop) is out of prison to pay respects to his dead father in the grave. To escape, he ingests some pills and is soon hospitalized.
