Kim So Hyun Dishes Thoughts On Acting Comeback

This summer, Kim So Hyun finally made her return to the acting scene after two long years. She is currently starring as a woman with the ability to detect lies in the romance drama "My Lovely Liar" opposite Hwang Minhyun.

In the series, Kim So Hyun received high praises for her transformation into a mature woman. To recall, the actress began her career as a child star who appeared in various television shows.

Her most notable works include "Who Are You: School 2015," "Love Alarm," "Let's Fight Ghost" and more. Kim So Hyun admits being flattered with the compliments she receives for her "My Lovely Liar" transformation.

"I've become more mature appearance-wise," Kim So Hyun said. "I feel shy whenever I hear that so I try to joke around a lot."

Kim So Hyun Shares Glimpse of 2-Year Hiatus

In her interview with Dazed Korea, the "My Lovely Liar" star revealed that she went back to school during her break, which was the first ever time off she had since her debut.

"I studied and read a lot. I also slept a lot," Kim So Hyun revealed. "I did a lot of things that I wanted to do back then."

When asked whether she regrets going back to acting, Kim So Hyun said that she's happier now, and she needed the time off the spotlight. She loves acting but she also enjoys having some time to learn other things for herself.

"I have the thirst to try new things," Kim So Hyun admitted. "When given the chance, I want to write a novel. Someday."
