‘My Lovely Liar’ Episode 9: Hwang Minhyun Reveals The Truth
Things begin to become more serious between Kim So Hyun and Hwang Minhyun. Unfortunately, the former doesn't lay her cards due to the lies she detects.

'My Lovely Liar' Episode 9: Kim Do Ha Bares His Heart To Mok Sol Hee
In the ninth episode of "My Lovely Liar," a sudden change in Mok Sol Hee (Kim So Hyun) and Kim Do Ha's (Hwang Minhyun) relationship takes place.
Mok Sol Hee also begins to grow more curious about Kim Do Ha's past. She asks him about his previous relationship with his ex-lover Choi Uhm Ji (Song Ji Hyun).
It is revealed that she was Kim Do Ha's first love. Unfortunately, they broke up when they entered different universities especially when Choi Uhm Ji became very obsessive.
Kim Do Ha reveals that he grew more anxious whenever he's with her due to her suicidal behavior. One night, Choi Uhm Ji held a glass shard against her wrist, threatening him.
When Kim Do Ha had enough, he became cold towards her, not batting an eye at her self-harm attempts, creating a huge wall between the two.
Kim Do Ha's Guilt Worsens
Choi Uhm Ji then takes her own life which puts Kim Do Ha at the center of the investigation. This was because he wiped her blood with his clothes, leaving a huge chunk of evidence.
Kim Do Ha is innocent. However, he feels extremely guilty for somewhat abandoning his emotionally dependent girlfriend. Because of this, he makes a false statement.
He is then acquitted due insufficient evidence. Thankfully, his mentor Jo Deuk Chan (Yoon Ji On) also lent his hands to Kim Do Ha.

Up until now, Kim Do Ha still feels guilty about what had happened. Even when he changed his name and his lifestyle, it was still a nightmare for him.
The Romance Continues To Bloom
Mok Sol Hee, who empathizes with him, offers comfort and reassures him that it wasn't his fault. Since Kim Do Ha doesn't want to live a life filled with lies anymore, he bares his heart to Mok Sol Hee who never left his side.
He confesses that he loves her dearly, and promises to love her with his heart. The two then share a sweet, chaste kiss.
Choi Uhm Ho's Revenge
Just when everything feels right, Choi Uhm Ji's vengeful brother Choi Uhm Ho (Kwon Dong Ho) kidnaps Shaon (Lee Si Woo) to threaten Kim Do Ha.
When he hears about what happened, Kim Do Ha tries to plead with Choi Uhm Ho. Sadly, he doesn't listen to anyone anymore as the death of his sister scarred him for life.
