The popular actress recently returned to the limelight earlier this year, and decorated the screen with the buzzworthy series "Doctor Cha."
She played the titular role of a housewife who returns to the medical field after 20 years due to an unexpected turn of events in her life.
Uhm Jung Hwa enjoyed her second heyday and captured the attention of the viewers with her performance opposite Kim Byung Chul, Myung Se Bin and Min Woo Hyuk.
This time, the actress might appear in the upcoming KBS2 drama "The Wife" as Eun Ip Sae, an intelligent woman who is a best-selling author and a loving mother to a child.
She graduated at the top of her class, and she lives a seemingly perfect life. Unbeknownst to everyone, she has a dark secret that could potentially ruin the reputable persona that she built.
