Kim Sejeong Expresses Admiration for IU
Kim Sejeong just successfully finished her drama "The Uncanny Counter 2." However, she will continue to work in the upcoming months as she also made her solo comeback with a new full-length album, and expected to go on tour.
Amid the promotion of her new music, Kim Sejeong made a guest appearance on the Korean radio show "Jung Oh's Song of Hope, Kim Shin Young." During the program, the singer-actress expressed her genuine and deep admiration for IU.
IU also known as Lee Ji Eun, is one of South Korea's national treasures. She is also one of the biggest stars in the country, well-respected by many. She is often called the "idol of idols" as many artists like and admire her.
Like others, IU has been Kim Sejeng's role model for years. The "Business Proposal" star mentioned that even during her pre-debut days, she looked up to the singer-songwriter.

Now that they are in the same industry, it's for sure that Kim Sejeong would've had a lot of opportunities to get close to the phenomenal star.
However, the actress revealed that she has no intention of getting close to IU. She explained how much she loves her senior, IU. Kim Sejeong thought that it would be nice to have a meal with the "Good Day" singer someday.
"But I don't have intentions of getting close to her. I'll be so nervous, and the closer we are, I feel like the more mistakes I will make. I have been a true fan of hers ever since. In college, when I was asked who my role model was or the singer I respected, I chose IU Sunbaenim."
K-Netz React to Kim Sejeong's Confession
Following her confession, K-Netz shared how they can relate to Kim Sejeong.
- "Wow. I know how that feels. I would love to go to my idol's concert and get their autographs, but eating one-on-one with them and hanging out? I would hate that. I just want to have my idol be my idol and not someone I know."
- "I know that feeling too. I also got chosen to go to my favorite actor's fan sign, but I didn't go. I wanted to maintain the distance by myself."
- "I am like that too. That's why I am fascinated by those fans who go to offline events and act friendly to their idols, because they're different from me."
Meanwhile, Kim Sejeong is already confirmed to be a guest at the upcoming IU's "Palette" episode on YouTube.
After knowing this, many fans of both stars are already excited to see the two in one frame and what would their interaction be on screen.
