Jeon Yeo Bin Returns To Big Screen With 'Cobweb'

The long wait is over for Jeon Yeo Bin as her lauded noir film "Cobweb" is approaching its release.

First screened at 2023 Cannes, the film showcases the struggles of a renowned director who exerts great effort to refilm the ending of his perfectly helmed film in the 70s.

Jeon Yeo Bin transforms into Shin Mi Do, the stern producer of the film. She is a woman with a big personality who doesn't back down from anyone.

In the film, she works opposite veterans Song Kang Ho, Oh Jung Se, Im Soo Jung and rising actress Krystal Jung.

The star-studded cast and the narrative alone pushed the actress to do her best as an actress. Jeon Yeo Bin described "Cobweb" as the work which she's "not ashamed to show to fans."

She reasoned, "I acted with love as "Cobweb" is the most cinematic moment in my entire career. It's the turning point that I never want to miss for the world."

In addition, Jeon Yeo Bin revealed that through the work, she was able to rediscover herself as an actress, and what more she can offer to her beloved fans.


Here's What To Expect From 'Cobweb'

Director Kim Jee Woon created "Cobweb" to deliver comfort to every viewer who suffered from the aftermath of the COVID outbreak.

Not only does the work offer a cleverly written narrative but it also poses real-life struggles and situations that are a universal experience to people.

"I want to send an optimistic message that life, just like cinema, goes on no matter what," Kim Jee Woon stated. On the other hand, "Cobweb" also offers a charming work through the ensemble's bold performances, synergy and hysteria.
