Krystal Jung Gets Candid About Relationship With Sister Jessica

Many Hallyu fans surely know about the iconic Jung sisters who dominated the second generation of idols.

Although they have taken different paths today, Krystal and Jessica Jung still have millions of loyal supporters.

Krystal, who pursued a career in acting, is now gearing up for her big screen comeback opposite veteran stars Song Kang Ho, Oh Jung Se and more.

"Cobweb" tells the struggles of a frustrated director in the '70s who plans to refilm his already wrapped up film due as he strives for perfection.

In the film, Krystal plays rising actress Han Yu Rim who becomes a core player in the film-within-a-film. Many critics and producers named "Cobweb" as the idol-actress' best work yet.

"I prepared a lot for my transformation in the film," Krystal confessed. "It opened a new path for me as an actress. "Cobweb" is like a gift to me."

Besides her co-stars and production team, she thanked her sister Jessica, former Girls' Generation member, for her never-ending support.

According to Krystal, Jessica cheered on her a lot during filming. The former idol even retired to South Korea to attend the "Cobweb" VIP screening.

"We don't really say much but we support each other more through actions," Krystal said. "I'm thankful. We really get along well."

Krystal and Jessica were previously signed under SM Entertainment. Krystal is now active as an actress while Jessica now manages her own fashion brand Blanc & Eclare.

What To Expect From Krystal Jung In 'Cobweb'

Krystal is set to showcase a never-before-seen side of her as Han Yu Rim, a flirty woman who gets involved in a shocking scandal with her co-star.

Tension is amplified especially when the idol-actress talked about her bed scene with Oh Jung Se, describing it as a "thrilling experience."

Kim Jee Woon, the director, praised Krystal for her oozing charisma despite being the youngest in the whole team. Even veteran star Song Kang Ho is impressed with the actress' performance.
