Kim Hye Soo

Earlier this 2023, Hallyu favorite Kim Hye Soo returned to the big screen with the action film "Smugglers."

It also stars highly loved veterans Jo In Sung, Yeom Jung Ah, Go Min Si and more, and it tells the stories of women who are involved in a high scale smuggling operation by the sea.

"Smugglers" topped the box office for two weeks and reached a break-even point this year, following Ma Dong Seok's "The Roundup: No Way Out."

In addition, Kim Hye Soo is also gearing up for her sci-fi film "Return" with Hwang Jung Min, which has been in the works since 2018.

The film focuses on South Korea's first space station where space workers struggle to rescue an astronaut left behind in space due to an unforeseen incident.

"Return" is aimed to be released in the early part of 2024 so stay tuned for more details.

Cho Seung Woo

After a long while, Cho Seung Woo returned to the spotlight as a lawyer in the court drama "Divorce Attorney Shin."

He took on the titular role in the 2023 drama, and gave life to a lawyer specializing in divorce who's also experiencing major turbulence in his life.

Cho Seung Woo's comeback drama wrapped up with flying colors, receiving an average score of 7% during its entire broadcast.

Yoo Hae Jin

In summer of 2023, Yoo Hae Jin made his long awaited comeback to the silver theaters with his rom-com film "Honey Sweet" with Kim Hee Sun.

The actor transformed into a confectionery researcher who falls in love with a pessimist woman full of charms. Throughout the film, his run-of-the-mill life was changed into something exciting after hanging out with the charming woman.

On the other hand, Yoo Hae Jin is also preparing for the most talked about film "Exhuma (previously known as "The Unearthed Grave")" with Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun.

It depicts the story of a shaman who relocates the bodies of the dead for a living. Since its production, it has been among the long awaited works in the silver screens.

"Exhuma" is slated to air in the following year so don't miss it. Moreover, "Dog Days," "Moral Hazards" and "Opposition" are also in his soon-to-be-released works.
