Is Park Hae Jin Single? Lim Ji Yeon Spills Truth Behind ‘The Killing Vote’ Co-Star’s Relationship Status

Lim Ji Yeon revealed the truth behind her "The Killing Vote" co-star Park Hae Jin's current relationship status as the duo graced Allure Korea.

The lead stars of the mystery-crime K-drama showcased their undeniable chemistry and answered random questions from fans. In a short video posted by the publication on their official YouTube channel, one of the questions was about Park Hae Jin's relationship status.

Lim Ji Yeon Reveals Park Hae Jin's Relationship Status

"The Killing Vote" cast happily answered a question from a fan, who wondered if she could date Park Hae Jin.

"This is so flirtatious," the actor said before joking. "You don't have to get in line because there is nothing special."

However, Lim Ji Yeon mouthed, "He has a high standard," of course, referring to her co-star.

Interestingly, Park Hae Jin recalled the time when Lim Ji Yeon wanted to set up a date for him to meet someone.

"She acted like she was going to introduce a nice girlfriend [to me]," he said. Unfortunately, the actress would often forget their agreement.

As for the actress, she said that she wanted Park Hae Jin to meet a nice girl, and as a sister, Lim Ji Yeon "wanted to see him in a relationship"; hence, she plans on setting him up with someone but forgets it.

'The Killing Vote' Lacks Romantic Scenes Because of Park Hae Jin

During their Q&A with Allure Korea, viewers asked if they could expect romantic scenes between Park Hae Jin and Lim Ji Yeon's characters.

The actress joked that the show couldn't have any because of his co-star. However, Park Hae Jin defended himself and explained that having a love story is not part of the premise of the K-drama since it focuses on finding out who the main culprit is.

"It's not like I didn't want it. Because of the specific genre of our show, if there is a romance in it, it feels like it's interrupting," he said.

In "The Killing Vote," Park Hae Jin plays lead detective Park Moo Chan, who is chasing after the mysterious masked man whom everyone refers to as Gaetal.

Meanwhile, his department is working alongside the cybercrime division led by Joo Hyun, portrayed by Lim Ji Yeon.

Joining the duo is a notable professor and author named Kwon Seok Joo, played by Park Sung Woong.

According to Gaetal, he is the number one fan of Professor Kwon, who was imprisoned for killing the murderer of his daughter.
