Han Hyo Joo Reveals Brutal Preparation for Her Role in 'Believer 2'

Han Hyo Joo, who played a badass mom in "Moving," joined the cast of the upcoming movie "Believer 2."

Taking on the role of Keunkal, a.k.a. Big Knife, the actress transforms with a bold visual and striking appearance, showing off bare-handed action scenes.

According to Han Hyo Joo, one of her missions as the Big Knife is to protect the organization boss named Mr. Lee, played by Cha Seung Won.

"She treats Mr. Lee like her father, loves him, and goes around dealing with those who say his name carelessly," she said. Adding to that, it was the role played by the late Kim Joo Hyuk and Jin Seo Yeo.

Sharing more about her preparation, Han Hyo Joo surprised everyone when she revealed her brutal diet.

Han Hyo-joo said, "It wasn't really easy to build a body. The time given was not long. Immediately after "Moving" ended, I joined "Believer 2.

"It's harder to build a skinny body that shows small muscles," she said, adding that she worked out all day, but the coach wanted her to show fine muscles even though she was "brutally skinny."

Showing her extreme dedication to the role, the actress revealed that she avoided drinking anything and even a sip of water for 3 days.

"In the last action scene, I tear up all my clothes, and at that time, my body (made so far) needs to be exposed, so I tried the hydration method for the first time in my life. I took out all the hydration from my body by not taking a sip of water for three days," Han Hyo Joo shared, as obtained by a media outlet.
