'Strong Girl Namsoon' Episode 1 Recap

In the episode, titled "Birth of the Strong Girl," the story begins in 2013 in Mongolia, where the young Gang Nam Soon is against a strong Hulk-looking man as her opponent.

With her age and height, the man didn't take her seriously - not until she showed her superhuman strength and was declared a winner.

As she grew up, she began to wonder about her real parents and would occasionally remember a vision of her family. This is why she became fascinated with South Korea, especially the boys, but her top priority is reconnecting with her long-lost family.

On the other hand, "Strong Girl Namsoon" also featured Namsoon's father, Kang Bong Go, who is still on the hunt for his daughter.

After losing her in Mongolia, he and his wife, Hwang Geum Joo, got divorced because of the heartbreaking incident.

As for Hwang Geum Joo, she set up a competition to find the strongest teen in Korea with a whopping cash prize.

A petite girl named Hwa Ja emerged as the winner after managing to lift a heavy object during the competition.

After a brief interview with her, Geum Joo is convinced that she is her daughter, Nam Soon. Among the possible reasons were that their age and blood type were the same, but the father and grandmother doubted Hwa Ja.

Also, she displayed odd behavior and obviously has ulterior motives for pretending to be someone else.

On the other hand, Nam Soon showcased her skill during her flight from Mongolia to Korea.

After the airplane experienced trouble landing, Nam Soon was able to drag it to a halt by using all her powers.

However, doing this also triggered the powers of her mother and grandmother, since they are all linked together.
