BIBI ‘Got Goosebumps’ After Seeing Song Joong Ki in ‘Hopeless’ + Reveals How Generous the Actor is on Set

BIBI dished on her experience filming her first lead role for the movie "Hopeless" with Song Joong Ki.

In the upcoming movie, the singer-actress will showcase how versatile she is in different genres as she takes on the role of Ha Yan, a woman who is not intimidated by harsh reality.

In an interview cited by a local media outlet, the singer-actress expressed how thankful she is for her senior co-stars and said that she enjoyed filming the movie.

BIBI Praises Song Joong Ki

According to BIBI, whose real name is Kim Hyung Seo, she revealed that their relationship on set was more like a family. Her co-stars were very patient with her, especially Song Joong Ki.

"Senior actor Song Joong Ki believed in my acting," she said, adding, "They told me to do whatever I wanted. I learned a lot from them, like how to behave properly when becoming a star."

Speaking of the top star, BIBI describes him as someone who is "kind and cool," adding that she wanted to become a person like the co-star.

"He always smiled and cared about the staff," she said, continuing to praise Song Joong Ki.

In addition to this, BIBI also got starstrucked that she "got goosebumps" upon seeing the actor do his scenes.

However, there are also days that the top star has serious days, especially when he is determined to do something.

Another trait of Song Joong Ki that BIBI revealed during the interview is how the actor was generous on the set.

According to her, the "Reborn Rich" star would treat the staff to nice meals like makguksu, chicken ribs, pork belly, and more. She added that although she only has a few scenes with Song Joong Ki, BIBI would often see the actor come to the set.

"There were times when he came just to buy me some food," the actress furthered, adding, "He treated me so nicely that I wonder when I will get a chance to work in such a pleasant environment."

'Hopeless' Release Date

In the upcoming noir film, Song Joong Ki takes on the role of a mafia boss named Chi Geon who meets the 18-year-old runaway Yeon Gyu, played by rookie actor Hong Xa Bin.

Interestingly, prior to the movie's official release in theaters, "Hopeless," also known as "Hwaran," was invited to the 76th Cannes Film Festival for the screening under the Un Certain Regard section, where they received standing ovations from the audience.

Months later, viewers get to see the amazing masterpiece of Kim Chang Hoon as Song Joong Ki's movie "Hopeless" will officially release in theaters on October 11.
