Song Joong Ki Enjoys Becoming First-Time Father
As he returned to the entertainment spotlight, Song Joong Ki made his guest appearance on JTBC's "News Room" on October 15, as part of the promotion of his new film "Hopeless." The actor revealed his experience of auditioning overseas and the happiness he gained after becoming a father.
During the interview, the South Korean top star shared that his lips resemble his son. Every time he hears about it, he feels good and amazed at the same time.
According to the actor, he is also doing well and taking care of his son with his wife Katy.

As the interview progressed, they talked about his new movie "Hopeless," also known as "Hwaran."
Song Joong Ki mentioned that he felt honored to work with brilliant actors and creatives. He used the opportunity to thank them for a job well done.
Song Joong Ki shared that he wanted a dark work.
"As a viewer, I enjoy that genre. It was a natural appearance to me, but I think it might sound fresh to the audience who have a different image of me. I wanted to do it naturally because it's a genre I usually like."

With his well-established career in Korean entertainment, Song Joong Ki wanted to challenge himself in a new environment. He is constantly knocking on doors through auditions in various countries because of his eagerness to do work abroad.
However, not all of his auditions went well but due to his desire to expand his career abroad, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor will continue to try until he fulfills his goal of making it in the international spotlight.
"I have an audition after this activity as well. I hope I pass this time because I failed most of my auditions before. I think I'm getting more greedy to try in various industries in other cultures."
