Byeon Woo Seok, Han Hyo Joo, Song Joong Ki Return to Screen as Villains This 2023
After leading their dramas and movies with protagonists roles, Byeon Woo Seok, Han Hyo Joo, and Song Joong Ki will give a breath of fresh air as they are to meet the viewers with their thrilling villain characters.
Byeon Woo Seok
The handsome and reserved high school student Poong Woon Ho in Netflix's hit movie "20th Century" is about to wear a new hat in his new series "Strong Girl Namsoon."
Byeon Woo Seok takes the role of Ryu Shi Oh, a bachelor and CEO of the distribution and sales company, Dugo, who is driven by ambitious greed. In the teasers released by the production, the actor has exhibited a strong aura and is ready to overpower his people to get what he wants.
This cunning villain is expected to give thrills in the drama's narrative and viewers are looking forward to the actor's transformation.

The heartthrob will challenge himself to showcase more of his acting in playing an antagonist character through this series.
Catch Byeon Woo Seok every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. (KST) on JTBC alongside Lee Yoo Mi and Ong Seong Wu.
Han Hyo Joo
Following her outstanding performance in Disney Plus' fantasy drama "Moving," where she played Lee Mi Hyun, the ever-supportive and loving mother of Kim Bong Seok (Lee Jung Ha), Han Hyo Joo will have a drastic transformation with her upcoming project.
Different from her previous characters, the award-winning actress will greet the audience with a villain role in "Believer 2." She is Keunkal alias Big Knife. Through the movie's teasers, the female star already gave a glimpse of her challenging role and intense action scenes.
During her media presscon at the BIFF 2023, Han Hyo Joo said that she had to create something new and show something that she didn't have.
True to her words, the actress embarked on a new journey as she focused on transforming into the character emotionally and physically, to bring Keunkal to life.
"Believer 2" will exclusively be released on Netflix this coming November 17.
Song Joong Ki
Returning after a short break, Song Joong Ki is giving much anticipation with his character transformation in the film "Hopeless."
Hopeless
Even before it hit the cinemas, the movie already received a standing ovation at the 76th Cannes Film Festival last May. The actor will take the role of Chi Geon, the boss of a crime syndicate.
"Hopeless" features the story of people who make risky decisions to escape from their cruel realities.
The actor mentioned that he volunteered to star in the project as he wanted to showcase a different acting style that he had not done before. As he was immersed in the script, the director of the movie spilled that Song Joong Ki really turned into Chi Geon and delivered a great performance while filming the movie.
Beginning from his visuals, deep-toned voice, and mysterious gaze, the male star is already giving viewers excitement on what to look forward to his silver screen return.
The noir film is about to meet the audience in cinemas this October.
