Park Ji Hoon Stars in 'Fantastic Sonata'
On October 17, Park Ji Hoon created a buzz online as media reports announced that he is expected to make his drama comeback with "Fantastic Sonata." He will join forces for the first time with Hong Ye Ji in this project.
It has been said that the drama is gearing up for a January 2024 premiere.
The fantasy-romance drama originated from the famous webtoon, "Fantastic Sonata," which narrates a heart-fluttering love story and a fierce obsession between a man who has conflicting personalities and a woman who has feelings for him.
In the webtoon K-drama, Park Ji Hoon will challenge himself as he takes the dual roles of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun and Ak Hee, his other persona.
Sajo Hyun is a genius character who uses his innate artistic sense to work as a fashion designer at a small boutique while hiding his identity as a crown prince.

Due to his oppressive father, Sajo Hyun has suffered from a wound deep in his heart since childhood.
Meanwhile, his other persona, Ak Hee, is charming and can easily sway others, but he is cursed to feel pain when he makes physical contact with others.
Hong Ye Ji Turns Into Assassin
Opposite him is Hong Ye Ji, she will play the role of Yeon Wol, a woman whose life is full of twists and turns, going from an assassin to a concubine. She is known as the royal descendant of the Yeon Dynasty and the only daughter of Yeon Poong Hak.
She hides her identity and becomes an assassin to avenge her family.
However, when she's plotting to assassinate the king, she falls into a trap set by an anonymous person and wakes up with no memory from the past.
"Fantastic Sonata" is scheduled to premiere in January 2024 and will occupy the Monday-Tuesday slots on KBS.
