Jeon So Min To Leave ‘Running Man’? Program’s Production Releases Official Statement
Jeon So Min's journey with "Running Man" is about to end as the actress decided to leave the show. The program's production team and her agency have since released statements regarding her departure.

'Running Man' Confirms Jeon So Min's Departure
On October 23, many were surprised by the sudden announcement that Jeon So Min would no longer be part of the Sunday variety show "Running Man." It was confirmed by the management that the celebrity will depart from the program after being a regular mainstay for six years.
According to the "Running Man" team, after a long discussion with Jeon So Min, members, and the whole production, the actress decided to leave the show. The management respects her decision and will officially exit the program on the October 30 recording.
Despite her dedication and stay with the other mainstays for the past six years, where she showcased exceptional affection and a sense of responsibility as a member of the program, Jeon So Min conveyed her intention that she needs the time to recharge for her acting activities.

The management said that they along with the members had a long-term discussion to stay together until the end, but understanding Jeon So Min's situation, made them respect her decision for her career.
'Running Man' Bids Farewell to Jeon So Min
Before the management concluded its statement they sent their sad farewell and gratitude to the former member.
"We express our gratitude to Jeon So Min who made 'Running Man' shine brighter as a member of the show for a long time. We ask for warm support and encouragement from all the viewers for Jeon Seo Min who made a difficult decision. The 'Running Man' members and the production team will support her and will forever be a member of the family."

Similar to what the "Running Man" team said, the actress agency "KingKong by Starship" also stated Jeon So Min's departure from the show and expressed their gratitude to the viewers who have been with her for six years.
Jeon So Min started her "Running Man" journey in April 2017 along with Yang Se Chan. Following her final recording on October 30, the longtime running show will reportedly continue for the time being with six mainstays namely Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Seok Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, and Yang Se Chan.
