Wi Ha Joon dishes on his experience filming the intense kiss scene with co-star Im Se Mi in an episode of "The Worst of Evil."

During his interview with local media outlets, the actor revealed a surprising story regarding his intimate scene with the actress and his working relationship with Ji Chang Wook.

Wi Ha Joon Shares His Closeness With Im Se Mi

Starting off with actress Im Se Mi, Wi Ha Joon was all praise for his female co-star for being so kind and easy to work with.

"We had a lot of emotional conversations," he said, adding, "When the two of us got together, it was rather easy for me."

Talking about her character, Wi Ha Joon lauded his co-star for delivering an amazing performance as she takes on the role of Yoo Eui Jung, an elite crime division officer who goes undercover for her husband, Park Joon Mo, played by Ji Chang Wook.

In "The Worst of Evil," Wi Ha Joon plays Gangnam Union boss Jung Ki Chul, a notorious leader of a mafia who also organizes one of the biggest drug syndicates in Seoul.

While Joon Mo works as Ki Chul's trusted aide, his wife, Eui Jung, is Jung Ki Chul's first love.

According to the actor, he received help from Im Se Mi to perform the kiss scene flawlessly.

Being his senior, the actress gave him tips and advice, which he is thankful for.

Wi Ha Joon said that he "worried a lot" during the start, but thankfully he became comfortable around Im Se Mi.

Other than Im Se Mi, Wi Ha Joon also spoke about what it's like to work with Ji Chang Wook and their team in "The Worst of Evil."

"I really liked it," he said, expressing his fondness for his co-star.

He also mentioned how versatile Ji Chang Wook is, especially with the noir action series.

"I thought he was an actor who could handle all genres, including action and romance, but I don't think the noir part was highlighted to the public, and I was looking forward to it," he explained.

Moreover, the actor said that he sometimes overthinks a lot while on set, but Ji Chang Wook made him realize not to worry too much and have fun doing the series.

"He made me realize that. 'It's no big deal; just do it.' This mindset helped me a lot," Wi Ha Joon said, adding that he "learned a lot" being with Ji Chang Wook.
