Wi Ha Joon, along with the cast of "The Worst of Evil," talks about the stories behind the camera and their experience filming the series.

Debuted during the Chuseok holiday, the action crime K-drama stars Ji Chang Wook as detective Park Joon Mo, who is set on a dangerous mission in hopes of getting the promotion he wanted.

He is after the gang boss Jung Ki Chul, played by Wi Ha Joon, who managed to become the head of the biggest drug cartel in Korea.

As Joon Mo goes undercover, he learns that his wife, Yoo Eui Jung, an elite narcotics crime offer, played by Im Se Mi, was Jung Ki Chul's first love, showcasing a more complicated situation between the trio.

As "The Worst of Evil" made its premiere on September 27, the cast members shared surprising stories as they filmed the series.

Wi Ha Joon Says He Had Minor Injuries While Filming 'The Worst of Evil'

"The Worst of Evil" cast appeared on a YouTube channel hosted by JinHo Bae, where they talked about the challenges during the production.

One of the questions asked about Wi Ha Joon was about any injuries or setbacks he had while filming a scene. According to the actor, he had minor injuries, which he admitted were his mistakes.

"So I have to be more cautious in the future if I were to have more action scenes."

Elaborating on the injuries he had, Wi Ha Joon was thankful that they were only scratches, bruises, and bumps. He also said that he was very apologetic to the team because they got worried about his condition.

As mentioned, Wi Ha Joon took on the villain role of Jung Ki Chul in "The Worst of Evil." Viewers get to see intense action-packed scenes between his character and undercover detective Park Joon Mo.

As for his hardest scene, it would be with senior actor Jung Man Shik, who played the role of Segeant Jang, one of the original gang bosses in Seoul, but was taken over by Ki Chul's group.

One of the things the host noticed about Ji Chang Wook doing action scenes, especially in "The Worst of Evil," was his signature stare before beating up someone.

According to the actor, it's something that he didn't force, but rather focused on the situation.

"I try to think about the reasons why I have to beat this individual at the moment, and it's the emotions because I wanted to beat someone like that," he explained, adding that the character "is on the verge of his emotions."

Airing every Wednesday, "The Worst of Evil" is available on Disney+ and Hulu.

The fourth episode is slated to air on October 4 at 3:00 PM KST.
