Park Min Young Headlines Romance K-Drama 'Marry My Husband'

Park Min Young made a heads-up to fans as media reports confirmed that the actress is gearing up for her next K-drama comeback. It was announced that the female star will headline the romance series "Marry My Husband."

It's been a year since her last drama. Now that she's about to return, many are anticipating who will be Park Min Young's next leading man.

Based on the announcement, the actress will team up for the first time with promising actor Na In Woo. Adding to the confirmed cast members are Lee Yi Kyung, Song Ha Yoon, Lee Gi Kwang, and Gong Min Jung. 

The series is said to be produced by the famous company Studio Dragon in partnership with DK E&M. The script will be penned by Shin Yoo Dam and directed by Park Won Guk.

"Marry My Husband" is based on a web novel of the same name written by Sung So Jak. It explores the revenge story of terminally ill Kang Ji Won, who witnesses her best friend and her husband having an affair.

Kang Ji Won travels back 10 years and seeks revenge with Yoo Ji Hyeok, a high-profile person in a department who works at the same company as her.

The drama is receiving anticipation as it will deliver laughter and fun chemistry for the cast.

Park Min Young is Kang Ji Won, who is murdered by her husband and his mistress. She experiences a second life as she travels back 10 years in the past to start a new life. Viewers are looking forward to the actress' transformation in the project.

Opposite her is Na In Woo, who will portray Yoo Ji Hyeok, a smart and handsome bachelor. Despite being capable of doing anything he puts his mind to, he sometimes fumbles in front of his one-sided love Kang Ji Won. The actor raises anticipation for his new character.

Lee Ki Kyung takes the role of Park Min Hwan, Kang Ji Won's husband. He is selfish and only thinks about himself. He has outdated views, and considers his wife an unimportant person in his life.

Song Ha Yoon plays the character of Jung Soo Min, Kang Ji Won's best friend. Opposite to her innocent persona, she has a completely bad attitude. Her two-faced nature gives anticipation for Song Ha Yoon's performance.

Lee Gi Kwang returns to acting after years. He will immerse himself in the character of Baek Eun Ho, a handsome chef who is connected with Kang Ji Won and Jung Soo Min.

After her appearance in "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," Gong Min Jung is back with another rom-com series. She will transform into Kang Ji Won's colleague Yang Joo Ran. She experiences hell but after meeting Ji Won, her life will start to change.

With these talented cast members, many are already focusing on what these stars will offer in their upcoming project together.

The tvN series is scheduled to make its debut on January 1, 2024, and will occupy the Monday-Tuesday slots.
