Kim Ji Hoon's Physical Appearance Criticized By Harsh Fan

On November 4, veteran star Kim Ji Hoon appeared as a guest in an episode of TV Chosun's travel program "Huh Young Man's Food Travel."

Much to the fans' delight, the actor joined the crew to the Namhang River where a picturesque scenery stole everyone's breath away.

Kim Ji Hoon recently returned to the acting scene as a villain in the Netflix action film "Ballerina" with Jeon Jong Seo. He's currently promoting the box office film with a content heart.

Many viewers fell for the actor's transformation as he boasted his unrivaled looks and sex appeal. Kim Ji Hoon now has a whopping 1.2 million followers on Instagram, proving his popularity.

However, a fan seemed to disagree with what everybody else thinks. After the restaurant owner complimented Kim Ji Hoon's looks, a fan who also saw him claimed that he "looked different now."

"You were so handsome back then," the customer said. "Since you're over 40 now, you no longer look like that."

The customer also claimed to be a fan, saying that she supported Kim Ji Hoon when he appeared in the romance melodrama "Jang Bo Ri Is Here!" in 2014.

Thankfully, Kim Ji Hoon didn't take the comment to heart and laughed along with the fan. He promised to eat a lot and gain more weight in order to "look fuller and handsome like before."

Despite the comments, Kim Ji Hoon's allure is still strong. Unbeknownst to many, it's one of the factors that landed him the jaw-dropping "Ballerina" acting role.

Like many K-drama stars, Kim Ji Hoon was also one of the most popular "pretty boys" in Hallyu until he decided to change his appearance for "Flower of Evil."

While his current "rugged" and "overly masculine" looks can be intimidating, it has landed him countless iconic roles in the past years including his latest film "Ballerina."

In his guest appearance on Salon Drip, Jeon Jong Seo revealed that Lee Chung Hyun, the director of the Netflix film, had his eyes set on Kim Ji Hoon for the role.

"He wanted someone who looks evil yet sexy," Jeon Jong Seo shared. "When he saw Ji Hoon oppa's [older brother in Korean] Instagram post, he knew he was the one."

Kim Ji Hoon, who only heard about his casting role for the first time, was certainly flattered. He thanked the director for the compliments, and guaranteed to return with great works.
