Yoo Hae Jin K-Dramas & Movies: Where Have You Seen Him?

The 53-year-old actor made his debut in the 1997 movie "Blackjack." Since then, he has been in the industry, engaging in various projects, but mostly in the action, crime, and thriller genres.

Among his famous movies are "Veteran 1," "LOVE+SLING," "Confidential Assignment" 1 and 2, and the award-winning film "The Night Owl" with Ryu Jun Yeol.

Interestingly, after a decades-long career as an actor, Yoo Hae Jin had his first ever rom-com film with Kim Hee Sun.

The duo headlined "Honey Sweet," penned by Lee Byung Hun of "Dream" and helmed by Lee Han of "A Melody to Remember."

Although he is used to action-packed movies, Yoo Hae Jin said that he didn't find the rom-com flick difficult.

"I didn't approach the film as a rom-com. It didn't feel especially difficult or like it required extra effort because its genre was rom-com. It just happened to be classified as a rom-com to put a name on the genre."

Following the premiere, "Honey Sweet" has surpassed 1 million viewers in less than 19 days since its debut, as cited by the Korean Film Council.

At the time, the movie joins other blockbuster films that hit the 1 million mark in the summer of 2023, including "Smugglers," "Concrete Utopia," and "Ransomed."

Other than movies, Yoo Hae Jin also appeared in TVN's entertainment show "Three Meals a Day" as the main host with Cha Seung Won and Son Ho Jun.
