Park Seo Joon gets honest as he talks about his role in "The Marvels."

The South Korean star's Hollywood debut sparks excitement among fans.

Following the news about the "Itaewon Class" star officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe's new installment, viewers couldn't wait to see Park Seo Joon on the big screen, especially since this is his first international project.

However, as soon as "The Marvels" premiered globally, the public's excitement turned to disappointment.

In a report cited by a media outlet, an online post garnered huge attention after a fan attended an early screening of Park Seo Joon's "The Marvels."

Based on the post, the fan timed the actor's appearances and claimed PSJ's appearance lasted a total of two minutes and 47 seconds.

The post immediately became a trending topic online as fans expressed their disappointment, calling out the lack of screen time featuring the actor.

Most of the netizens thought that PSJ portrayed one of the lead characters because he was included in the trailers and teasers.

Due to this, some fans even mentioned that they would skip watching "The Marvels" in theaters after learning about the South Korean star's appearance.

Park Seo Joon Answers the Public's Disappointment Regarding His Screen Time in 'The Marvels'

Following the viewers' concern regarding the Hollywood movie, Park Seo Joon briefly addressed the issue regarding his appearance.

In an interview obtained by a news portal, he recalled being part of the movie's first musical sequence and spoke about the preparations he made for the role.

"I think they checked my vocal range before making the songs I had to sing, so I wouldn't have trouble singing," he said, adding, "During filming those scenes, I tried to focus more on capturing the character's emotions than on singing well."

As for his brief appearance, Park Seo Joon expressed how proud he is to be part of "The Marvels," even though he had only a few scenes.

He pointed out that Prince Yan is an important figure in Brie Larson's character development as Carol Danvers.

"Some might think my part in the movie is too short, but I believe it plays a crucial part in the overall narrative of 'The Marvels'" he added.

In the latest MCU installment, the South Korean star took on the role of Prince Yan of Aladna.

He is an ally of Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, where he and Carol Danvers got married on his home planet, Aladna.

Other than this, Park Seo Joon is set to return to the small screen with Han So Hee.

Headlining the action thriller K-drama "Gyeongseong Creature," viewers will get to see the dup's amazing chemistry as they take on the roles of Jang Tae Sang and Yun Chae Ok.

The upcoming series will be exclusively released on Netflix in December 2023.
