Park So Yi Plays Superpower Girl In New JTBC Drama

On November 13, it was confirmed that child actress Park So Yi is coming back to prime time with JTBC's forthcoming series "I'm Not A Hero."

It's among the works she's preparing for at the moment. It's a fantasy romance series that follows a man with extraordinary abilities to save the life of the woman of destiny.

Park So Yi plays Bok In Na, the youngest daughter of a superpower family. She is obsessed with smartphones and technology, which amplifies her excitement for her supernatural abilities.

Unlike her family members, she hasn't mastered her powers yet. With the help of her father Bok Gwi Joo, played by Jang Ki Yong, Bok In Na will undergo a character growth that will manifest her power.

On the other hand, Jang Ki Yong is one of the most sought-after actors in the industry who's known for his dramas "Sweet & Sour," "My Roommate Is A Gumiho" and more.

The chemistry between the two actors who will act as a father and daughter duo is a factor to watch for in "I'm Not A Hero."

"I was immersed in the drama as soon as I read the script," Park So Yi revealed. "I'm thrilled to play In Na and work with Jang Ki Yong sunbae (senior) for the first time ever."

On the other hand, "I'm Not A Hero" is currently in the works, and it's expected to be released some time in 2024.

Park So Yi made her acting debut at the age of 6 in the 2018 hit drama "Mistress" and since then, she has been in countless works as a child actress.

She has shown great potential and flawless performances in big scale works including "Law School," "High Class," "See You In My 19th Life," "Revenant" and more.

Through "I'm Not A Hero," Park So Yi challenges herself with the fantasy genre. She's expected to showcase improved acting skills as she gives life to her character while expressing delicate emotional changes as Bok In Na.
