Lee Hyeri, Ryu Jun Yeol Break Up After 7 Years
On November 13, news outlet News1 reported that the celebrity couple had broken up, ending their 7-year relationship.
Through their respective agencies, Ryu Jun Yeol's C-JeS Studios and Hyeri's Creative Group ING released a statement saying, "It is true that they broke up."
Moreover, sources also mentioned that they have mutually decided to maintain their connection as friends after much consideration.
Although the labels didn't mention the reason behind their split, it was rumored that the former couple had been estranged from each other since the first half of this year due to their schedules.

Ryu Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri met on the set of the popular 2016 K-drama "Reply 1988," alongside Park Bo Gum, Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Dong Hwi, and more.
Following the rumors about their reel-to-real romance, they officially confirmed their relationship and went public in August 2017. Since then, both stars have mentioned each other's names in interviews.
Lee Hyeri even surprised Ryu Jun Yeol on the set of his drama on his birthday in 2022. The actress sent him a coffee truck along with a sweet message, "Happy birthday to my beloved Ryu Jun Yeol, Jun Yeol's number one fan," and also visited him on the set.
However, Hyeri's past interview suggested a relationship problem when she guested on a variety show.

In a post mentioned by a news outlet, the "Moonshine" star appeared in a variety show, alongside (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, LE SSERAFIM's Chaewon, and Lee Jung.
Talking about the number of messages they received in a day, Miyeon said that she had 157 unread messages. As for Kim Chaewon and Lee Jung, they had 183 and 114 unread messages, respectively.
Lee Hyeri then revealed that there were days when she didn't get a single message, which surprised everyone.
As mentioned by the outlet, some thought that Ryu Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri's relationship was already on the rocks considering that she did the interview when she was still dating the actor.
Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol is set to headline the upcoming K-drama "Money Game," which will be released this year.
In addition, he will also star in the upcoming sequel, "Alienoid 2," reprising his role as Mu Reuk with Kim Woo Bin and Kim Tae Ri.
As for the actress, Lee Hyeri has finished filming her movie comeback, "Victory," which is scheduled to be released in 2024.
