Idol-actress Hyeri shared her feelings about her career and also looked back at the past, reflecting on her emotions as she reached her prime as a celebrity.

Recently, she wrapped her fantasy romance drama "May I Help You," which earned her high praises for her acting skills.

Girl's Day Hyeri Reveals Future Career Plans

A new video was published in Girl's Day Hyeri's personal YouTube channel, much to fans' delight!

On February 3, the idol-turned-actress talked about her honest feelings on traveling alone and being a celebrity in her newest vlog entitled "Hyeri's Healing Tour in Jeju."

Hyeri shared that she visited Jeju Island to unwind after shooting for seven long months. Recently, she starred in the fantasy romance drama "May I Help You" with Lee Jun Young.

The series showcased her improved acting chops, which earned Hyeri high praises from fans all around the world.

Hyeri then opened up about her honest thoughts on traveling alone. Now that she's 30 years old in Korean age, the artist became more in touch with her emotional side.

"I was so scared of being alone before but now that I'm older, things made me reflect on myself," Hyeri confessed. "I need to keep working hard and be a better person and an artist."

In the video, Hyeri also showed her fans new hobbies that she currently loves, which includes reading self-help books and eating good food at new restaurants.

As for her goals this 2023, Hyeri plans to be stronger. She stated, "When I'm hurt, I tend to forget myself. This year, I want to bravely face the music without hesitations."

The singer-actress also thanked everyone who supported her and MBC's "May I Help You," which aired in 2022.

In the series "May I Help You," Girl's Day Hyeri played the role of a funeral director who is able to see and talk to the dead.

Her portrayal gained massive positive reactions from fans and critics alike. Before participating in the MBC drama, Hyeri was criticized for playing mainstream roles; the vivacious and cheerful female character in dramas.

Thankfully, she was able to prove that she has a lot more to offer. Meanwhile, "May I Help You" peaked at 5% viewership ratings during its broadcast.

Currently, Hyeri is gearing up for her forthcoming return to the silver screen "Victory," where she takes on the role of Se Hyun, a cheerleader.

"Victory" aims to deliver a healing watching experience as it tackles the themes of youth, friendships and dreams through the eyes of the main character.
