After being in talks with the drama officials, Park Sung Woong has officially confirmed his appearance in the highly-anticipated spin-off to "Stranger."

According to a news outlet, the 50-year-old actor is set to join Lee Joon Hyuk as one of the lead stars in the upcoming K-drama "Good or Bad Dong Jae."

Park Sung Woong To Become Lee Joon Hyuk's Rival in 'Stranger' Spin-Off

According to the news portal, Park Sung Woong takes on the character of CEO Nam Wan Sung, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction. He will be the rival of Lee Joon Hyuk, who reprises his role as prosecutor, Seo Dong Jae.

As mentioned by the outlet, Seo Dong Jae will be Nam Wan Sung's obstacle regarding the redevelopment project that he is set to launch.

However, he will do whatever it takes for the sake of business, which means that viewers will get to see intense face-offs between the two characters.

Interestingly, the production team hints at what to expect between Park Sung Woong and Lee Joon Hyuk's team-up as they play each other's nemesis in "Good or Bad Dong Jae."

"We plan to portray a new survival task starting with Seo Dong Jae, a character whose obnoxious but salty appearance in 'Stranger' turned public opinion around."

Moreover, the team says that fans will witness a "breathtaking battle between the characters that will unfold in a world where there are no permanent enemies or friends."

In September 2023, Studio Dragon, the renowned production company, officially confirmed that "Stranger" will be returning with a spin-off.

According to a report, the premise of the story will unfold through Seo Dong Jae, who portrays a person who is neither good nor evil.
