‘Tell Me You Love Me’ Episode 1: Jung Woo Sung & Shin Hyun Bin’s Heart Fluttering Meeting

Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin's fated story has finally begun as they continually crossed paths in "Tell Me You Love Me" episode 1.

Based on the popular Japanese romance series in 1995 this melodrama follows the story of Cha Jin Woo (Jung Woo Sung), a hearing-impaired man who feels freedom in his peaceful world and who is easygoing despite the judgment of others against him and Jung Mo Eun (Shin Hyun Bin), a newbie actress with self-respect and optimistically follows her dreams and love. 

'Tell Me You Love Me' Episode 1: Jung Mo Eun Shows Concern to Cha Jin Woo

In "Tell Me You Love Me" episode 1, Cha Jin Woo and Jung Mo Eun had their first meeting on Jeju Island. 

They shared a short moment where Jin Woo handed the scarf to Mo Eun. Jung Mo Eun came to Jeju for a shoot, where she played a minor role, while Cha Jin Woo visited the island to paint in peace. 

During their first meeting, Mo Eun didn't know that Jin Woo could not speak and hear. Soon, she realized his condition when he communicated with her in sign language. 

The following day, their paths crossed again at a restaurant. Unfortunately, a fire broke out and all the customers rushed to leave the place. However, due to his hearing disability, Cha Jin Woo was not aware of the current situation and was left behind while doing his painting.

Jung Mo Eun was about to leave but suddenly thought of Cha Jin Woo. She quickly ran to get him and managed to locate her way to him through the fire and bring him outside safely. But while she was trying to bring him out, the two, faced difficulty as Jin Woo got rattled by the situation. 

The fire break-out also brought Cha Jin Woo to his past trauma. 

Cha Jin Woo Treats Jung Mo Eun to Dinner for Saving Him 

The two ended up in a hospital and started to get to know each other. They began to communicate by writing what they wanted to tell each other. Jung Mo Eun told Jin Woo that she was hungry and they started looking for a place to eat. Unfortunately, everything was closed, and couldn't find any place. 

Cha Jin Woo then escorted Jung Mo Eun to his caravan, where he cooked ramen for them to share. The two enjoyed their time and soon as the rain dropped, Jin Woo walked Mo Eun to her hotel.

The following day, they both return to Seoul. Mo Eun returned to her reality and was struggling to find a stable acting job, while Jin Woo was seen teaching art to students. 

Fate Brings Cha Jin Woo & Jung Mo Eun Together

Though they have been living in their own realities, the two have been constantly thinking about each other. 

While on her way home after a tiring day, Mo Eun saw Jin Woo on a bus. She tried to chase the bus but failed. However, Jin Woo returned to her, and they met again. When they saw each other, Mo Eun greeted him and told her name in sign language. 

It showed that she started to learn the language to communicate and connect with him. The episode concluded in a fluttering moment when Jin Woo realized that someone had put an effort to understand him better.
