‘Pandora: Beneath the Paradise: Cast Update 2023: What’s Next for Lee Ji Ah, Lee Sang Yoon, More

In 2023, tvN introduced the mind-boggling K-drama "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise," which starred Lee Ji Ah, Lee Sang Yoon, and more.

Helmed by "One the Woman" director Choi Young Hoon and penned by "The Penthouse" writer Kim Soon Ok, the 16-episode series focused on the revenge of Hong Tae Ra, played by Lee Ji Ah.

"Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" captured her journey after discovering a dark secret about her past and come to realize that her picture-perfect life was orchestrated by someone who had a devious plan.

Joining her in the series was Lee Sang Yoon as her husband, Pyo Jae Hyun, running for a presidential post.

Meanwhile, Jang Hee Jin played as her sister, Ko Hae Soo, who knew all about Hong Tae Ra's real identity.

In addition to this, Lee Ji Ah was reunited with "The Penthouse" co-star Bong Tae Gyu, who took on the role of Koo Sung Chan.

While season 2 is yet to be confirmed, here's the current and upcoming cast of "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise."

Lee Ji Ah

After her second heyday, thanks to the blockbuster K-drama "The Penthouse," viewers will get to see Lee Ji Ah return to the small screen in 2024.

The actress will headline the law crime series "Great Problem Solver" as she takes on the character of Kim Sa Ra, known as the country's greatest divorce problem solver.

In the upcoming series, she will team up with Kang Ki Young from "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," who will play as eccentric lawyer Dong Ki Joon.

The 16-episode series will premiere on January 31, airing every Wednesday and Thursday via JTBC.

Lee Sang Yoon

While "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" is his K-drama comeback after "One the Woman," Lee Sang Yoon returned to the small screen with a special appearance in Netflix's "Celebrity" episodes 2 and 7.

Park Ki Woong

Portraying the character of Jang Do Jin, Park Ki Woong appeared in various K-dramas in 2023.

This includes a guest role in "A Time Called You," starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Hyo Been, and a lead role in Amazon Prime's "My Man is Cupid," with Jang Dong Yoon and Nana.

As of this writing, Park Ki Woong's K-drama is in the second half of the season.

Other than this, viewers could expect more of the actor as he stars in the miniseries "The Chain."
