With Part 1, fans were able to see a different side of Seo In Guk as an actor. They also saw the concepts of life and death in a different light, thanks to the work.

Following its success, Seo In Guk dished out his honest thoughts on the drama, and also revealed his plans for his career as an actor.

Seo In Guk Expresses Gratitude To 'Death's Game' Viewers

Days after the release of "Death's Game" Part 1, Seo In Guk shared his honest feelings about the show.

The actor transformed into a jaded man subjected to an incredible punishment where he goes through a dozen lives and deaths.

Seo In Guk delivered an excellent performance as Choi Lee Jae who was reincarnated in 12 bodies in order to escape the burning pits of hell.

According to the actor, "Death's Game" is a work of fate. Apart from being a fan of the original work, he also found resonance from his own character.

"Like Choi Lee Jae, I failed a lot of auditions before my debut," Seo In Guk shared. "There were times when my heart was filled with jealousy and envy. Thankfully, I overcame it."

On the other hand, Seo In Guk thanked his fans for their undying support, which he described as a "driving force" for him to keep going, and continue producing content as an actor and a singer.

Seo In Guk Guarantees Improved Work As Hallyu Star

"Death's Game" truly challenged the actor's guts and dedication as an actor. In his recent interview with fellow singer-actor Rain, Seo In Guk revealed having a panic attack on set.

Since his character requires falling into an abyss when he meets Death, played by Park So Dam, he had a rough time filming as someone with an intense fear of heights.

When he was hanging mid-air, Seo In Guk suffered from an intense panic attack. However, he pushed through the filming, facing his fears and showcasing his professionalism.

"In Part 2, I want the viewers to see my improved acting skills and passion for my craft," the actor said. "I hope it all goes well."

As for his dream role, Seo In Guk expressed his desire to do a romance drama, which he hasn't done for a while. He also wishes to play a villainous role after trying it out in "Project Wolf Hunting."

Moreover, he also plans to release an album and even hold a concert tour to meet his beloved fans.
