K-heartthrob Jang Dong Yoon shared an interesting anecdote about his acting career and goals outside the show business.

In collaboration with Cosmopolitan Korea for its January issue, Jang Do Yoon graced the pages of the famous magazine. 

Looking preppy with his casual style and city boy look, the lead star has captured the hearts of many. His radiating youthful, combined with curly styled hair and freckled makeup completed his innocent boyish aura.

Jang Dong Yoon is currently preparing for his next drama "Like Flowers in Sand." Apart from the behind-the-scenes stories in the series, "The Tale of Nokdu" the actor talked about his life and goals behind the glitz and glamor of the entertainment industry. 

K-Actor Expresses His Love and Interest for People and Society 

Back in his university years, he was called Detective Jang Wangsimni for cracking down on teenagers who were smoking, and saving someone about to commit assault. Interestingly, he was street cast after he appeared in a TV interview and that's how his life in showbiz began. 

Jang Dong Yoon expressed his love for people and the society. He is ambitious and stubborn, likes to go around, and has an interest in people. He also honestly shared his thoughts about the modern society in which good-looking people are judged for being rich and successful. He also mentioned that the cancel culture is getting worse these days.

But for him, what he considered the most was someone's courtesy and consideration. In his profession as an actor, Jang Dong Yoon humbly said that artists should not just think of themselves but also the people they are working with, understand the staff's hardships, and be grateful for their help. 

Jang Dong Yoon Wishes to Become A Father Soon

Meanwhile, as he tells more about himself, Jang Dong Yoon said, "I may seem soft-hearted and innocent, but when you get to know me, I am stubborn, honest, unique, and upright." He continued, "I am sometimes strange too, and live in my world when I get tired."

As the interview went on, Jang Dong Yoon shared an interesting anecdote about his personal goal in life, and that is to become a dad.

"I want to become a father before it is too late."

In his recent guest appearance on JaeJae's YouTube show "Civilization Express," Jang Dong Yoon gets honest and shares his interest in falling in love. He always prays for his future partner and hopes to find her at the right time. 

The actor even named Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams as his ideal type.
