Various Celebs Mourn Lee Sun Gyun's Passing
On December 27, the media announced the sudden death of "Parasite" actor Lee Sun Gyun after the authorities confirmed his unconscious body inside his car.
The entertainment industry mourns his passing and some shows already postponed their schedule due to the incident.
The following day, Lee Sun Gyun's funeral is held at the Seoul National University Hospital. His portrait smiling brightly was displayed.
His wife, actress Jeon Hye Jin, and his brothers are said to be on the list of chief mourners.

Apart from his close relatives, Lee Sun Gyun's labelmates Choi Deok Moon, and Sol Kyung Gu, whom he also worked with in the film "Kingmaker" paid their visit.
On the same day, actors Yoo Jae Myung and Jo Jung Suk, who collaborated with Lee Sun Gyun in his posthumous work "The Land of Happiness" visited the funeral to express their condolences.
According to the source, the "Hospital Playlist" lead star shed tears as he walked out of the funeral hall.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Cho Jin Woong, who worked with Lee Sun Gyun in the movie "A Hard Day" also paid his respects. It has been said that the male star was unable to walk properly and entered the mortuary while being escorted by other people.
Im Siwan, Lee Jung Jae, Kim Nam Gil, More Mourn Death of Lee Sun Gyun
Aside from the mentioned stars, actors namely Ha Jung Woo, Jung Woo Sung, Lee Sung Min, Lee Jung Jae, Ryu Jun Yeol, Im Siwan, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Nam Gil, Yoo Yeon Seok, Song Young Kyu, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Sang Cheol, and Bae Sung Woo were present at the funeral and mourned.
Jang Won Suk, BA Entertainment's CEO and "Killing Romance" director Lee Won Suk also paid their respects. Korean stars such as Yoo Joon Sang, Park Sung Woong, Yoo Hae Jin, and C-Jes Entertainment actors offered their condolences and sent flowers at Lee Sun Gyun's mortuary.
Colleagues who haven't visited the funeral yet expressed their condolences through social media posts. Among them were "Pachinko" writer Lee Min Jin, Kim Gyu Ri, Lee Ji Hoon, Claudia Kim, Park Ho San, Ryu Seung Soo, Yoon Jin Young, Kim Min Kyo, Kim Ok Vin, Hong Seok Cheon, Hyun Young, and Jang Sung Kyu.
Due to Lee Sun Gyun's sudden death, some scheduled events were changed and adjusted to other dates, such as Kim Seong Gyu's interview for the film "Noryang: Deadly Sea" and the online media conference of Park Min Young's drama "Marry My Husband," which is rescheduled to January 1, 2024.
