Kim Go Eun Mourns Lee Sun Kyun's Death
On December 28, Kim Go Eun bared her heart to the fans as she recalled her memorable moments with Lee Sun Kyun.
She shared a black and white photo of her with Lee Sun Kyun with no particular caption. Kim Go Eun was smiling while holding a bouquet of flowers beside the late actor.
To recall, the two actors starred together in the popular film "The Advocate: A Missing Body" in 2015. In addition, they were also alumni of Korea National University of Arts.
The fans could feel the actress' regrets and pain as she lost a friend and a senior in the industry. Kim Go Eun's sweet words to Lee Sun Kyun during their partnership were also remembered.
"On set, Lee Sun Kyun treated me so well," Kim Go Eun said. "I was comfortable around him and we communicated easily."

Lee Sun Kyun's old joke in the film was also remembered, making everyone miss the actor. He said, "I didn't know why I suggested I get slapped by Kim Go Eun. She slapped me really well."
On the other hand, Lee Sun Kyun, who had been under investigation for illegal drug use since October, was found lifeless at a park in Seoul on December 27.
Autopsy wasn't performed to respect the bereaved family's wishes. Lee Sun Kyun's mortuary is set up at Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall. Burial will take place on December 29.
Meanwhile, actors Yoo Yeon Seok, Sol Kyung Gu, Ha Jung Woo, Lee Jung Jae, Jung Woo Sung, Jeon Do Yeol and more actors as well as directors were in attendance at the funeral home.
Kim Go Eun's Upcoming Films, K-dramas This 2024
Kim Go Eun is currently in the middle of filming her upcoming film "Exhuma" with Lee Do Hyun.
In the work, she plays a dead body collector who is asked to relocate a tomb by a mysterious client. Through the work, she is expected to diversify her acting spectrum with the occult genre.
It's expected to hit the theaters in early 2024. In addition, she will work alongside Noh Sang Hyun in the new series "Love in the Big City."
It's a romance drama that tells the contrasting beliefs of a vivacious woman and a stoic man who both discover love as they grow closer.
