Hong Kyung Bags Major Award At 2023 SBS Drama Awards
On December 29, the 2023 SBS Drama Awards took place to honor the dramas and the big stars that dominated prime time in the past year.
Among the actors that received the greatest recognition is Hong Kyung who showed his versatility and improved acting in the occult horror series "Revenant."
In the series, the actor transformed into a charismatic detective who helped Kim Tae Ri navigate her complicated life while doing his best to solve the mysterious deaths in their town.

Hong Kyung was lauded for his work, and his chemistry with Kim Tae Ri also captured the viewers' attention, leading to the drama's double digit streak till its conclusion.
At the 2023 SBS Drama Awards, Hong Kyung received the Excellence Award in the Action Mini Series category, much to fans' delight.
It marks the actor's second overall award since his debut, following his Best New Actor award at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards.
Hong Kyung Elicits Laughter From Viewers
To express his gratitude, Hong Kyung thanked the viewers who supported "Revenant" from beginning to end.
He also thanked his family, friends and co-stars who trusted him as an actor. Most especially, he expressed his grateful heart for Kim Tae Ri who guided him throughout the show.
"Tae Ri noona (older sister) acted with great strength with me," Hong Kyung said, making the actress swoon. "I enjoyed acting in "Revenant" because of noona."
In addition, Hong Kyung made everyone laugh after he shared his affection for his dogs named Won, Coco and Leonardo DiCaprio in his speech.
Moreover, "Revenant" received six major awards at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards while Kim Tae Ri successfully took home another Daesang (Grand Prize).
Hong Kyung Reunites With Kim Tae Ri
Fans of Hong Kyung and Kim Tae Ri's chemistry are in for a treat in the coming year.
This 2024, Hong Kyung reunites with Kim Tae Ri in the forthcoming animated film "Lost In Starlight" where they will lend their voices to give life to the work.
It's a romantic series that depicts the long distance relationship between a musician from Earth and an astronaut who is set to fly to Mars for the exploration project in 2050.
