Poll Votes Express Their Love For "Missing You"
And the winner of our kdramastars poll is... Well, the voting is not over yet. But it sure looks like "Missing You" is the biggest winner, followed by "The Heirs."
The drama, starring Yoon Eun Hye, Park Yoochun, Yoo Seung Ho and Jang Mi Ne, only ran for a few weeks in January 2013. But those final episodes must have left a good impression.
In the drama the high school sweethearts played by Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye are separated by tragedy. He spends his life looking for her, not believing she died. She spends hers trying to forget and forge a new identity. Then they meet again and she has to remember who she really is.
So far the drama is up to 54.69 percent while "The Heirs," starring Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin, came in at 31.33 percent of the vote.
With less than two days to cast votes, it looks like "The Heirs" does not stand a chance to win, despite having topped the list for the first week. But anything can happen.
The melodrama "Queen of Ambition" held third place but only with 4.87 percent of the vote. "The Master's Sun" and "I Hear Your Voice" got less than two percent.
Park Yoochun still holds first place in the Best Actor category, outpacing Lee Min Ho by more than 20 points. The JYJ singer and actor has 54.69 percent of the vote, while Lee Min Ho got only 31.33 percent. Kim Woo Bin held third place but with fewer points at 2.15 percent. So Ji Sub and Lee Jong Suk got less than a point each for their critically praised performances in "The Master's Sun" and "I Hear Your Voice."
The Best Actress ranking did not change but Yoon Eun Hye, who played the tragic Zoe Lou in "Missing You," did get a bigger percentage of the votes. Park Shin Hye still ruled with 54.54 percent of the vote but Yoon Eun Hye is up to 21.25 percent, while Moon Geun Young got 10.96 percent. The actress votes were more evenly dispersed with Suzy getting 3.41 percent for "Gu Family Book," Song Hye Kyo getting 2.65 percent for "That Winter The Wind Blows" and Lee Bo Young earning 2.64 percent for "I Hear Your Voice."
