‘Doctor Slump’ Episode 3: Park Shin Hye Tries to Save Park Hyung Sik in Court

Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) tried to prove Yeo Jung Woo's (Park Hyung Sik) innocence during his trial in "Doctor Slump" episode 3.

'Doctor Slump' Episode 3: Yeo Jung Woo Prepares for His Trial + Spends Quality Time With Nam Ha Neul

The episode began in a flashback from Yeo Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul's rival days in high school. Back in the present, the duo tried to recover from their drunken and emotional hug last night. They confronted each other and decided to stay away from each other to avoid awkwardness.

Meanwhile, Nam Ha Neul's family joined forces to help her get through her mental health journey. 

Yeo Jung Woo, on the other hand, met with his lawyers before his second trial. Luckily, one of his colleagues wanted to testify and help him win the case. While his lawyers hoped for victory, Jung Woo was skeptical of his colleague's sudden change of behavior. 

Later that night, someone broke into Jung Woo's apartment. Ha Neul's family discovered the incident and told Jung Woo. The police failed to identify the culprit. 

Nam Ha Neul offered him to stay at her house. The former rivals had dinner with Ha Neul's family. Jung Woo then offered to take her for ice cream. The two went out to eat ice cream and played arcade games.

As they spent time together and talked about their current situations, Yeo Jung Woo advised that they should take a break. The duo who used to hate each other now found comfort in one another.

Yeo Jung Woo Distances Himself From Nam Ha Neul

Nam Ha Neul discovered that her senior orchestrated a scheme where she received less severance pay. She tried to ask for help from her colleagues, but they refused as they were afraid of their seniors. 

Elsewhere, Jung Woo bought fruits to hand over to Ha Neul's family as a token of gratitude for taking him last night. But he left after he overheard them discussing his scandal.

Nam Ha Neul met him at the rooftop when he avoided her. 

When she reached home, Ha Neul was advised by her mom to distance herself from Jung Woo due to his scandal. She felt guilty as Jung Woo overheard her family talking about his past issue. 

Nam Ha Neul & Yeo Jung Woo Become Friends

Meanwhile, Jung Woo's assistant refused to testify and resigned from his job ahead of the trial. Nam Ha Neul then decided to help him. She did research and other readings to help her rival prove his innocence. 

Unfortunately, she came late to court and wasn't able to save Yeo Jung Woo. But Jung Woo was surprised to see her and feel grateful for showing up. 

After a tiring day, the two went to the beach to watch the sunrise, only to be disappointed since it was a cloudy morning and the sun was nowhere to be found. They kept talking and Jung Woo offered her to become friends, which she happily accepted.
