‘Doctor Slump’ Episode 2: Park Shin Hye Quits Job + Park Hyung Sik Gets Candid Moments With Rival

Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) decided to quit her job and later on found herself having spontaneous moments with Yeo Jung Woo (Park Hyung Sik) in "Doctor Slump" episode 2.

'Doctor Slump' Episode 2: Yeo Jung Woo Asks Favor to Nam Ha Neul

In continuation of episode 1, Nam Ha Neul was having a conversation with her friend when she bumped into Yeo Jung Woo, who wanted to rent a flat near hers. The two had flashbacks about their rival days and the tension arose again.

The next day, Jung Woo went to visit the hospital to visit his friend when he saw Ha Neul. He asked a favor to allow him to stay in her house. However, his competitive spirit returned and had bickering moments with his rival.

Nam He Neul Quits Her Job Due to Focus On Herself

Meanwhile, on the same day, Nam Ha Neul was abused by her senior. After throwing some papers at her face, they left her a cut.

She was also taken in for surgery even though she was not the one in charge of it because he was afraid to face a high-profile person. When her senior was struggling to put the tubes in, she asked if she should do it. The senior tried to do it but hit the vein every time, making blemishes on her skin. However, when Ha Neul did it, she got it done in one go.

In between, Nam Ha Neul visited her psychiatrist, who told her about how her bad condition has gotten worse since she gets heart palpitations and severe anxiety while working. He advised her to take a break.

She then returned to the hospital and her senior blamed Ha Neul for the damages during the surgery due to her inexperience. She apologized to the patient, but when they were already alone, the senior wanted her to beg for forgiveness.

Ha Neul couldn't take it anymore and decided to fight back. He tried to threaten her but she didn't care about what he would think. From that moment, she quit her job.

Yeo Jung Woo & Nam Ha Neul Become Each Other's Comfort

Nam Ha Neul's mother learned that her daughter left her job and nagged at her. Ha Neul felt awful and ran out of the house. Yeo Jung Woo overheard everything, while Ha Neul's brother found all the medication of her sister and told their parents that she was suffering from depression and anxiety.

Yeo Jung Woo found Nam Ha Neul in the street and asked her to grab a drink. Unfortunately, they saw their former classmates as a reunion took place in the same location. Someone insulted him but none of his friends bothered to defend him.

Jung Woo had a conversation with his friend, and Ha Neul overheard the whole conversation.

The two resumed their drinking session and ended up drunk. At that time, they became honest and empathized with each other.

Despite them being in a slump in their careers, they seemed happy with each other. Later on, Ha Neul received a message from her mom saying she didn't care if she was successful or not, but she wanted to see Ha Neul happy.

She cried out loud and Jung Woo ended up crying too. They hugged and comforted each other during their down moments.
