The newest rom-com K-drama "Wedding Impossible" showcased a good start, leaving viewers excited to watch the succeeding episodes.

Headlined by Jeon Jong Seo, Moon Sang Min, Kim Do Wan, and Bae Yoon Kyung, the tvN series is based on the webtoon of the same name, helmed by Kwon Young Il of "Search: WWW" and "Doom at Your Service."

After weeks of teasing viewers with notable still cuts and trailers, viewers got to see the chemistry of the trio.

'Wedding Impossible' Viewership: Romance K-Drama Off To A Good Start

Following the huge success of Park Min Young, Lee Yi Kyung, Na In Woo, and Song Ha Yoon's revenge drama "Marry My Husband," tvN introduced the rom-com series about arranged marriage and the journey of B-list actress Na Ah Jeong (Jeon Jong Seo).

In a report, Nielsen Korea, a company that measures the audiences for television, radio, and newspapers in South Korea, garnered an impressive score for the tvN K-drama.

"Wedding Impossible" Episode 1 recorded an average nationwide viewership rating of 4.0 percent.

Although the newest K-drama wasn't able to surpass the ratings of its predecessor, "Marry My Husband," with 5.211 percent, netizens are nonetheless raving over it through social media and online communities.

Over X, formerly Twitter, viewers expressed their delight to see Jeon Jong Seo in her rom-com era.

 

In addition, fans are excited to see more of Jeon Jong Seo and Moon Sang Min's chemistry as future in-laws.

The same goes for Jeon Jong Seo and Kim Do Wan's on-screen friendship, as they play as longtime best friends.

Where to Watch 'Wedding Impossible'

Taking the time slot of "Marry My Husband," Jeon Jong Seo's drama is the newest Monday and Tuesday K-drama airing at 8:50 p.m. KST.

Viewers can watch the latest episode through tvN while global fans can stream it via subscription platforms like Viki and TVING.

As for "Wedding Impossible" Episode 2, it will air on February 27.

What to Expect in 'Wedding Impossible' Episode 2

Following a fast-paced story with Lee Do Han coming to South Korea after five years and ending up proposing to Na Ah Jeong, the second episode will highlight the announcement of his decision to settle down.

On his grandfather's birthday, the chairman was surprised by Do Han's decision to marry and introduced Na Ah Jeong as his fiancee.

However, Lee Do Han's brother, Lee Ji Han, wants his brother to take it slow and is clearly unhappy that it will be Na Ah Jeong.

This raises the question of whether Ah Jeong will accept Lee Do Han's proposal or if she will choose to pursue her career as an actress.
