Lee Jae Wook continues to make headlines after respective agencies confirmed that he is dating aespa's Karina. 

Amid the issues surrounding his romantic relationship with the K-pop member, the "Alchemy of Souls" star is reportedly leaving his label.

According to the local media outlet, the actor has decided not to renew his contract, which will expire in April. Instead, he will establish a one-man agency.

As mentioned, Lee Jae Wook officially signed an exclusive contract with C-JeS Studios in April 2021, whose talents include Ryu Jun Yeol, Yoo Teo, Moon So Ri, Ra Mi Ran, and more. 

During his stay with the agency, Lee Jae Wook headlined notable K-dramas such as "Alchemy of Souls." 

C-JeS Studios Responds to News Regarding Lee Jae Wook Leaving the Agency

Shortly after the news circulated over the internet, C-JeS Studios released a statement responding to claims about the actor's decision to leave the label.

In a separate report, the talent agency clarified that Lee Jae Wook "is still an actor signed with C-JeS Studios."

"There is still time left on his contract, so we cannot comment regarding his future plans," the agency added, referring to the actor's plan to establish a one-man agency. 

Other than the 25-year-old star, there are other celebrities who launched their own agency after leaving their current label. 

Lee Je Hoon established COMPANY ON, which handles all his activities, as well as Jang Na Ra for Rawon Culture. 

The same goes for So Ji Sub, who launched the one-man agency 51K. However, the agency grew from having only him as a talent to catering to young stars like Ok TaecYeon, Shin Jun Seop, and more. 

Lee Jae Wook's Agency Plans on Taking Legal Action Amid Malicious Rumors

Lee Jae Wook welcomed the year with a lot of changes in terms of his personal and career activities. 

From his budding romance with the aespa member to his K-drama comeback and rumored one-man agency, the actor is also facing negative allegations from the public.

Following the confirmation regarding his romance with aespa's Karina, speculation rose that he left his actress girlfriend of one year for the K-pop member. 

As mentioned by Dispatch, Lee Jae Wook and Karina met during Milan Fashion Week 2024 in January. 

After this, he began dating the idol after meeting her at the Prada show. 

On the other hand, there were speculations that he reportedly cheated on his ex-girlfriend after they broke up in December 2023. 

Due to this, C-JeS Studios released a statement, notifying them that they will take legal action against those who post "offensive reports with malicious intentions, including those with false information and slander against the actor."
