On February 27, Dispatch surprised the public by releasing snaps of K-stars Lee Jae Wook and aespa's leader Karina, which made rounds on social media speculating that they are dating in real life.
Just after the news broke on the internet, both of the stars' agencies confirmed their relationship and just started seeing each other.

According to the reports, the two fell in love after meeting for the first time at the Prada Fashion Show in Milan, Italy held on January 14. The media outlet also revealed the couple's dating style.
They said that Karina, who is living with her members, mostly visits the neighborhood where Lee Jae Wook lives. The duo enjoyed their dates in quiet residential area parks.
Lee Jae Wook's Past Interviews Describing His Ideal Type Become Hot Topic
In connection to their confirmed dating news, Lee Jae Wook's past interviews about his ideal type resurfaced online and immediately attracted attention. The actor was consistent in describing his ideal type for three years as 'positive and bright' in various fashion magazines and press media interviews.
In his interview with Maeil Business Newspaper in 2019, where he talked about his drama "Extraordinary You," he mentioned that his ideal person was closest to Eun Dan Oh, the name of the female protagonist in the series.
He elaborated, "In terms of the character's personality in the drama, it's Eun Dan Oh. She has a bright, positive attitude, and a spirit that never gives up."
Furthermore, in his conducted interview in 2021 with Esquire magazine, he mentioned more specific characteristics of his ideal type than before.
Lee Jae Wook said that he has quite severe mood swings and needs someone who can hold him well and lead him in a good direction, he added that he likes a clear, bright, and positive woman.
Some agree that the characteristics of his ideal type best describe aespa's Karina.
Meanwhile, Lee Jae Wook is returning to primetime through Disney Plus' "The Impossible Heir." The drama is scheduled to meet the viewers beginning this February 28. K-stars Lee Jun Young and Hong Su Zu will also headline the series.
