‘Chicken Nugget’ Episode 1-3: Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong Find Ways To Save Kim Yoo Jung

The Hallyu fans are in for a treat this March as the brand new fantasy-comedy series, which is about a human turns into a chicken nugget, hit the brown screens. In "Chicken Nugget" Episode 1 - 3, Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong rush to find the cure to revert the changes that were made in Kim Yoo Jung's appearance. 

Go Baek Jung's Crush

Although people think he's crazy, Go Baek Jung (Ahn Jae Hong) continues to pursue his love for music, singing and dancing in public places on his way to work.

He is an intern at a machine company owned by Choi Sun Man (Ryu Seung Ryong). That day, the company receives a huge purple machine from their supplier.

Go Baek Jung and Choi Sun Man are joined by another employee. At lunch, Go Baek Jung stays when he learns that his boss' daughter is coming.

He has a huge crush on Choi Min Ah (Kim Yoo Jung) but he has been brutally rejected due to his rather bigger physique, which is the opposite of the girl's ideal man.

Choi Min Ah's Transformation

When Choi Min Ah arrives, the purple machine steals her attention. She is told that it's supposed to relieve fatigue, and decides to give it a try.

However, she soon transforms into a chicken nugget, creating massive ruckus inside the company. Go Baek Jung and Choi Sun Man find ways to revert the machine's effects.

They learn from their supplier that the machine was created by Dr. Yoo In Won (Yoo Seung Mok), a Nobel Prize winning scientist who was obsessed with machines.

Sadly, the crazy scientist is missing, leaving them no other choices to save Choi Min Ah. The police think differently, claiming that Dr. Yoo In Won "evaporated" one strange night.

A Father's Desperation

To find the answers, Go Baek Jung and Choi Sun Man find answers from Baek Jung Chicken Nugget, Choi Min Ah's favorite nugget place which has been built for over 200 years.

However, everyone thinks that they lost their minds. Thankfully, they meet Hong Cha (Jung Ho Yeon), a beautiful food critic who also happens to be Go Baek Jung's ex-girlfriend.

The two broke up two years ago due to their differences of preference when it comes to food. Because of this, Hong Cha refuses to help the duo until both of them go on their knees.

Hong Cha carefully picks out the chicken nugget that isn't from Baek Jung, claiming that it's Choi Min Ah. Later, Choi Sun Man creates a machine to keep the chicken nugget safe.

Will Cha Eun Woo Appear?

Out of desperation, Choi Sun Man searches for the crazy scientist's sister who's apparently in an unstable mental condition. She suggests finding the truth in Dr. Yoo's lab.

Unfortunately, all the materials inside the lab were sold to a scrap company, leaving the duo with a mountain of metallic garbage. Meanwhile, an idea pops up inside Go Baek Jung's mind.

He enters the purple machine and screams "Cha Eun Woo" in hopes to become handsome like Choi Min Ah's ideal type, raising excitement of what will happen next.
