Han So Hee - Ryu Jun Yeol - Hyeri Saga: Here's What Went Down

As mentioned, Han So Hee had a brief SNS hiatus following her dating controversy with Ryu Jun Yeol.

On March 14, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol made headlines after an online post claimed that they were vacationing in Hawaii together.

According to various outlets, the uploader mentioned that the duo was spotted lounging at the pool of a fancy hotel.

Their respective agencies immediately released statements, addressing the rumors.

Ryu Jun Yeol's label, C-JeS Studios, said that the actor was in Hawaii for a work trip.

On the other hand, Han So Hee's agency 9Ato Entertainment denied the rumors. They added that the reason she was in Hawaii was for a vacation with close friends.

However, Hyeri captured everyone's attention after she shared a cryptic post amid the controversy. This sparked the curiosity of netizens as she wrote on her Story, "It's funny."

Then, Han So Hee took to her Instagram to respond to Hyeri. In a lengthy post, she claimed she isn't the type to go for someone who's in a committed relationship.

Shortly after, through her personal blog, Han So Hee confirmed that she and Ryu Jun Yeol are dating. She also apologized for her unacceptable action, referring to her response to Hyeri.

"Because I acted based on my emotions rather than rational thinking, I acknowledge that this is completely my fault, regardless of my reasons."

Hyeri also penned an apology to fans, which she deleted right after.

Ryu Jun Yeol, on the other hand, made no effort in settling the dust.

Following the whole drama, Han So Hee stayed silent for a few weeks online, letting the issue die down.

Kim Ji Won Replaced Han So Hee as Soju Brand's Ambassador?

Other than the dating controversy, reports poured in that Han So Hee's CFs were also affected by the issue.

South Korea's NH Bank and the soju brand Chum Churum have not renewed the actress as their ambassador.

Further, the liquor brand reportedly chose Kim Ji Won as the new model of Chum Churum, replacing Han So Hee. The brand representatives, however, neither confirmed nor denied this matter.

"We are exploring possibilities in regards to the Chum Churum model. However, at this time, I cannot confirm anything."
