‘The Interest of Love’ Cast Update 2024: What’s Next for Yoo Yeon Seok, Moon Ga Young, More?

"The Interest of Love" showcased a slow-burn story of four individuals who were caught up in a tricky romance situation. 

Headlined by Yoo Yeon Seok, Moon Ga Young, Geum Sae Rok, and Jung Ga Ram, the story focuses on a modern office-set romance.

Based on the novel "Sarangui Ihae," the romance series is directed by Jo Young Min, the genius behind the drama "Do You Like Brahms?"

Set in KCU Bank's Yeongpo branch, Yoo Yeon Seok takes on the role of branch manager Ha Sang Su. 

Working under him is Ahn Soo Young, played by Moon Ga Young. She is one of the longtime employees at the bank, but despite her loyalty to the company, she still works as a service representative due to her educational background. 

Meanwhile, Soo Young got romantically involved with Jung Jong Hyeon, portrayed by Jung Ga Ram, who works as the branch's security personnel but dreams of being a police officer someday. 

Lastly, Geum Sae Rok plays new assistant manager Park Mi Kyung, who comes from a wealthy family and is Sang Su's junior at the university.

Yoo Yeon Seok

Best known for his roles in "Hospital Playlist '' and "Dr. Romantic," Yoo Yeon Seok returned to the small screen in 2023 to reprise his role as Kang Dong Joo in "Dr. Romantic," season 3. 

This time, he played the seniors of Cha Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin, played by Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop.

In the same year, the actor once again wowed the viewers with his versatility as he joined veteran stars Lee Sung Min and Lee Jung Eun in the mystery thriller "A Bloody Lucky Day."

Other than K-dramas, Yoo Yeon Seok is also active in movies. His most recent film was the adventure comedy "My Heart Puppy" with Cha Tae Hyun. 

Moon Ga Young

After "The Interest of Love," Moon Ga Young is slated to make her K-drama comeback with a back-to-back series. 

She is set to headline the upcoming webtoon-based romance K-drama "Black Salt Dragon" and a cameo role in "Cashero," led by Lee Jun Ho, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Hye Joon. 

Besides her soon-to-be released K-drama, Moon Ga Young is also active as a brand ambassador for fashion houses and making waves globally with her head-turning looks. 

Geum Sae Rok

The actress started the year by signing an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, the home of Han Hyo Joo, Kim Go Eun, Park Sung Hoon, and more. 

Besides this, she will also join the upcoming K-drama "The Blue House Family," taking on the role of Ji Hyeon, the second daughter of Korea's president. 

Jung Ga Ram

This 2024 Jung Ga Ram will be active on screen as he was offered to appear in a new K-drama and movie. 

He is in talks to headline the mystery movie "Investigative Trip" with Bae Sung Woo and star in the webtoon-based series "Hong Rang" along with Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah.
