On Aug. 19, Seo showed up alongside Kang Mina and Go Kyu-pil in a video called "Seo In-guk, Kang Mina, and Go Kyu-pil Are Best Friends But Would Never Lend Each Other Money."

The three came together with comedian Song Eun-i to promote their new Disney+ drama Twelve.

Throughout the conversation, Seo discussed his relationship with his co-stars.

He said, "We don't contact each other very often privately, but we always make sure to check in occasionally. I think that's close enough to call it a personal friendship."

When asked if he lends money, Seo's answer was met with laughter. "I wouldn't lend money to Kyu-pil hyung," he said.

Go Kyu-pil immediately agreed, saying, "I wouldn't lend him money either."

The talk then turned into Seo's family when Song Eun-i mentioned a previous viral sensation.

She said, "Didn't your sister post praise online after receiving allowance from you? How much did you give her for her to write that?"

Seo responded with a smile, "The maximum transfer limit on the messenger app is 2 million won (about $1,429)."

As Song responded in shock, Seo explained, "Well, some of it got deducted along the way. And it was also meant for my nephews to use together."

In spite of having a sister who was married, Seo's consistent support of her financially touched viewers' hearts with the beautiful gesture of his commitment to family.

Kang Mina also spoke about family money in her own terms. She explained, "We don't really give each other allowances. It's more like: earn your own money and spend it yourself.."

She then added with a chuckle, "We only give cash for birthdays, and that's it—keep it clean and simple."

The playful but genuine conversation provided a peek into the values and relationships of the actors themselves.

With Twelve releasing soon, the friendliness and chemistry shown off-stage has contributed to fan excitement for their future performances.
