Actress Lee Min Jung recently made news online after sharing a lighthearted Instagram comment about needing a "divorce." The comment, however, was not in reference to her actual marriage to Lee Byung Hun, but as a cheeky reference to her new drama role.

As reported by Koreaboo, on October 17, 2025 (KST), Lee Min Jung posted a series of pictures with fellow co-stars Kim Ji Seok and Lee Jin Yi. The three will star in the new weekend MBC drama "Let's Get Divorced," in which Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Seok are a married couple who have problems in their relationship.

On the caption, the actress posted, "Please let Ji Won Ho and Baek Mi Young get divorced, LOL.." The comment was in a joking manner alluding to the names of the characters in the drama.

The co-stars had some fun too. In reply, Lee Jin Yi commented jokingly to root for the imaginary breakup, while Kim Ji Seok added, "That's right. I can't wait to watch Let's Get Divorced."

According to Chosun Ilbo, the drama is about a married couple that owns a wedding dress shop and ultimately gets to breaking point in their relationship. The drama is said to provide a realistic representation of marriage, love, and breakup.

On the other hand, Lee Min Jung's actual husband, actor Lee Byung Hun, also expressed his admiration for her new work. He is said to have sent food trucks and coffee to the set of the drama, an action which both the crew and cast loved.

On Instagram, the production unit posted, "We received special support from the one and only Byunghun Love you, BH. Thank you, BH Another fun day on set with the Let's Get Divorced team! COMING SOON ."

This is Lee Min Jung's comeback to the small screen after six years of her appearance in "Once Again," and there is eagerness from fans to have her return in what looks like a light-hearted and humorous approach to marital relationships.

The MBC weekend drama "Let's Get Divorced" will premiere in 2026, with fans already looking forward to the chemistry between Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Seok.
