On Jan. 20, Kim's latest pictorial shoot for ELLE was unveiled, which features a nighttime theme that shows both intensity and calmness. After the photo shoot, Kim discussed the first impression he formed regarding the series. While setting the context to begin with, talking about the series, and then commenting on it, he said, "In the story, Ho Jin and Mu Hee spend time together across different countries, gradually developing feelings for each other. Haven't we all dreamed at least once of a romantic moment: meeting someone unexpectedly while traveling?"
He added, "This series brings that dream to life right before your eyes, in those moments when it feels like every emotion could open up. That's why I think the emotions between the two characters came through so clearly."
Kim also addressed his widely praised chemistry with co-star Go Youn Jung. Introducing his remarks on their collaboration, he reflected on the importance of mutual openness in acting.
He said, "I believe chemistry naturally forms when both people open their hearts. Fortunately, Youn Jung and I were very well aligned in terms of our energy and approach on set and in our acting. We focused on making the two characters feel real, doing our best to truly 'live' in each scene as naturally as possible."
He continued, "I was lucky to work with such wonderful people. It's a project that came with a lot of good fortune for me."
