South Korean actress Kim Bo Mi publicly expressed her anger after a group of middle school students threatened her 6-year-old son while riding by on bicycles. The disturbing incident occurred as the two were walking home from the child's academy.

Per Naver, Kim described the event in a social media post on May 11. She said the students pretended to kick my child, which caused her son to be startled and dodge. The teenagers then laughed and continued riding away.
Regarding the behavior of the youths, Kim said she was deeply upset. "I was so angry at their disrespectful behavior," she wrote. She also reflected on the importance of upbringing by saying, "I truly realized how important family education is." Despite feeling provoked, she admitted restraint by stating she should have shouted insults at them, but chose not to.
The reaction from the public was largely sympathetic. According to Koreaboo's coverage of the story, many netizens commented on the fear the child must have felt. One wrote, "How scared the child must have been," while others stressed the need for better manners among youth. "Even if it was a joke, it's crossing the line," one commenter said. Another emphasized that "basic manners education is crucial."
