Ji Chang Wook heard of Ha Ji Won's death and suffered a speech impairment.

On the 23rd episode of MBC Monday/Tuesday "Empress Ki" (script Jang Young Chul, Jung Kyung Soon, director Han Hee, Lee Sung Joon) broadcast on January 20th, Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook) gets a speech impairment hearing about the death of Ki Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won).

On this day, Ta Whan heard a report that Park Jae In (played by Han Hye Rin) and the gang ran into mountain gangs while going to the place where the Empress (played by Kim Suh Hyung) was going to give birth and died, as he couldn't believe it.

This was because Ki Seung Nyang who was trying to leave the palace was also park of Park Jae IN's group.  Ta Whan hears through Dok Man (played by Lee Won Jong) that Ki Seung Nyang had died and was shocked as he cried looking devastated..

Ta Whan was drinking with Golta (played by Jo Jae Yoon) and ended up losing his mind.  The doctor said that Ta Whan had suffered from a speech impairment and said that he wouldn't be able to speak for a while.
