According to ex-girlfriend Sinitta, Simon Cowell has been training himself for fatherhood by practising on a doll. "He and Lauren got my daughter Magdalena a doll that can cry and do a wee-wee. It was funny watching him sitting there with it. One minute he'd turn it one way and it would start crying, then he'd turn it the other way and it would wee on him. He didn't know what to do," she said.

Alesha Dixon,  Britain's Got Talent judge is the perfect person to give advice to Simon Cowell after giving birth to daughter Azura. She told Yahoo at the launch of her first fragrance Rose Quartz in London, "I think it will change him. Simon's a great guy, I think this will make him an even nicer person, having children does change you, it makes you become a better person because you want to set an example. I think he'll be a great dad."

Cowell's and Silverman's extended Christmas and New Year vacation got off to an unconventional start in Barbados. Silverman stayed with her parents, sister and 8-year-old son from her previous marriage to Andrew Silverman who happened to be Cowell's former best friend while Cowell boarded at his "party central" apartment down the street.

The separate residences were actually designed to conform with the custody agreement that Silverman worked out with her ex. Her son Adam is not allowed to be in Cowell's company or else she has to pay her ex $50,000.00. If she had her son with Cowell more than twice, she could permanently lose custody, according to The Post.

According to Daily News' source, "The U.S. producers want Simon back in the U.S. or to have him fly between the two countries, and Fox will almost certainly want the same. He loves Los Angeles, but his priority has changed dramatically for the first time in years. Put simply, he's going to be a dad for the first time. A nursery has been built in Cowell's London home in preparation for this year, and his Range Rover has been taken to New York where Lauren lives."

"While it isn't a given that the U.S. version of "X Factor" will close shop without Cowell, his absence would be a serious blow to a show that ended last season with 31/2 million fewer viewers than it had at the end of the previous season," reported by Daily News.

"It's highly unlikely Fox execs or Cowell will talk Major League Baseball into rescheduling the Fall Classic. That really hurt the show last year, and no doubt Cowell will insist that are no schedule clashes again this year," Daily news were told.
