"Pokemon XY Movie: Cocoon Of Destruction And Diancie" Japan Teaser Showcases Xerneas Vs Yveltal! Mega Evolution Appearances Confirmed!

The teaser trailer for the film "Pokemon XY: Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie" has been released and it shows the fight between the Pokemon X and Y "mascots" Xerneas and Yveltal!

The film will revolve around the battle between the legendary Pokemon Yveltal and Xerneas who appeared in the games Pokemon X and Y. "Pokemon XY: Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie" will include many legendary and mythical Pokémon as it will introduce the new Pokemon, Diancie.

The first Pokemon XY film will feature the "Mega Evolution" as revealed in the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y games for the Nintendo 3DS.

Pokemon X and Y were released for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide last October 12, 2014. The Pokemon XY anime series tie-in premiered on October 17 in Japan. Cartoon Network then aired two episodes from "Pokemon the Series: XY" in the United States on October 19, right after the American premiere of "Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened".

"Pokémon the Series: XY" began airing on Cartoon Network weekly on January 18.

"Pokemon XY: Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie" will open in Japan on July 19.
