Frozen 2 Release Date, Cast & News Update: Kristen Bell Prepares For Sequel In Her Own Bedroom, Benedict Cumberbatch, Melissa McCarthy And Judi Dench Added To Second Hit Movie?

There are release date, cast and news updates on the highly anticipated "Frozen 2."

Whether the news and updates for the sequel are true or false, Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, is clearly ecstatic about the potential opportunity.

The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actress told Hitflix, "I even recorded some of the sequences in my bedroom on my phone! I'll pass off those tapes when they need it! I don't know if anybody else is doing that, but I would love to do a sequel!"

Forbes suspects that "Frozen 2" may already be scheduled for a Thanksgiving 2016 or 2017 release date.

There also seems to be several potential cast candidates for the sequel to the Disney hit.

SheKnows asked co-directors and writers Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck about adding a new team of actors for "Frozen 2."

Lee responded, "I saw at the Oscar thing, I saw Jamie Foxx. I think he'd be good. We've gotta get him in."

She continued, "Benedict Cumberbatch, he'd be good. Melissa McCarthy."

Jennifer Lee also suggested for the cast, "Matthew McConaughey. He'd be a great animated character."

Chris Buck added, "Judi Dench. She's amazing. I love her. She's an amazing actress. But she did do a Disney film recently."

There is strong speculation that out of Lee and Buck's choices, Cumberbatch may be their best bet because the actor is quite familiar with voice acting.

Although both fans and their parents are keeping their fingers crossed for a sequel to "Frozen," some disagree.

MTV.com reports that because the message of "don't be afraid to be yourself" was so strong in the first film, it would be difficult to have a message that is equally as empowering.

There's a potential for "Frozen 2" to be about Elsa's love life, now that Anna is with Kristoff. There is concern that this will take away from the core message in the original "Frozen" as well.

There will be more news updates on "Frozen 2" in the near future. Hopefully a set release date comes our way so we know it's actually happening!
